RACE TO JUDGMENT

RACE TO JUDGMENT

Make no mistake

I was born into this skin by some cosmic design

bigger than your bigotry and bigger than mine

and whatever the divine purpose

whether to learn, to teach or just a high-level practical joke

what you think that you see in me

ain't necessarily what you're gonna get;

so cross the street and let me be

cause your right to judge me by my outwardness

is tiny compared with my right to be me.
